B'day Photos

Hello Hello!

Today was a fun day indeed. I went for lunch at Chilis at Megamall where I met some of my friends. 4 of us in this group are having birthdays around this time. .. the organiser? My sister, Pauline. Thank you thank you! =D

Okay, I had a mushroom swiss burger:

Nothing much to shout about lar. Its a filling meal, tho'.

Then after the food, we had some cake... although all of us didn't feel like cake. Already too full with whatever we ate.

Okay here's the group photo. All a happy bunch aren't we?

Then we went walking walking around Megamall. Went home... slept. Went out for dinner. Dad's friend wanted to take us out, and what an excellent location indeed. We had dinner at the historic Selangor Club, opposite the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

This building is currently housing the Court of Appeals and the Federal Court. A 'little birdie' told me that this is earmarked to be a museum of some kind. I look forward to that. I may write more on heritage buildings in KL some other time. I am quite interested in this matter.... So really, coming to this area on my birthday is a really wonderful arrangement! *Isn't it so beautifully litted?!The truly authentic KL landmark I believe.

Lastly... My sister took this photo.. Isn't this kewl?! Like some kind of Vegas style light show happening in the background.

Food review: Chillis isn't that great lar. Waste of money if you ask me. I saw the menu... RM 18 for a burger? It better do some cartwheels on the plate for me to pay RM 17! Better sing a few songs and tell some jokes too!

Song stuck in the head: That stupid cheepy cheepy cheap cheap... Listen to Light and Easy lar... AIYOH!!! Why they don't want to change stations in the car?!

Feeling nostalgic about: Whiter Shade of Pale. It was based on the tune Air on G String by Bach. (I'm sure some idiot will stumble upon my blog because of the words 'G-string'. A lot of sickos out there.. will dedicate a post to that next month perhaps.)
*Haruki: remember Gokoetsu? Air on G String was played? Whiter Shade of Pale was played by the band at the club tonight.

More shoutouts: SH Lim in Singapore. Thanks very much for the SMS. The same goes to all those who called, emailed, ICQed, SMSed, greetings. Thank you thank you thank you!!
