Spring is here!
The first buds of spring.
The first buds appearing should mark the beginning of Sping, not the politically decided calendar dates. Sping in Australia officially begins on the 1st of September, but last Saturday, I spotted these flower buds appearing on a tree. When I saw the green buds and the pink blossoms on a naked tree (as in a tree without any leaves), I stopped immediately and went to appreciate the flowers. They were so beautiful!
It is so nice to see flowers again after a rather dull winter! My friends tell me that this winter was rather mild, as weather 1/3 of the time was fairly good, and I haven't worn more than 3 layers.
The intricate arrangements of God.
The petals are arranged in such an intricate way to protect that which is within it. God must have thought of this as something precious - the seed of life. Flowers appearing once again every spring is a wonderful testament to the cycle of life and the journey of life. Everyone encounters waves and nodes in life.
